Put Out the Fire is the sixth track on Queen's funk album Hot Space. It is the heaviest song on the album and the only one that incorporates Queen's typical style of music, as opposed to the funk genre adopted for the majority of the album. The song was written by Brian May in 1982 and recorded in the same year.
